Retraction - Misdemeanor Arrests in December 18, 2024, edition of the Northwest Alabamian

An error under the misdemeanor arrests in the December 18, 2024, edition of the Northwest Alabamian listed several people as having been booked into the Winston County Jail from December 6-12, when they were actually released from jail during that time frame.

The following people were not booked into the jail during this time period, but were released from the jail:

John Travis Whitlock, 48, of Haleyville;

Daniel Ray Earley, 40, of Guntersville;

Catherine Mary Ann Dawson, 60, of Haleyville;

Tyler Dakota Hays, 34, of Graysville;

Matthew Wayne Tucker, 41, of Cullman;

Ethan David McCormick, 30, of Crane Hill;

Michael Paul Beckman, 47, of Haleyville;

Kateria Lynn Feezell, 30, of Haleyville;

Christopher Lee Pearson, 47, of Double Springs;

Debra Roseann Flake, 45, of Haleyville;

Adrienne Mackenzie Minor, 30, of Double Springs;

David Allen Demastus, 32, of Haleyville.

When someone is accused of a crime, it is merely an accusation until or unless the person is proven guilty in a court of law.
