HALEYVILLE - Young readers were having fun at the pre-school story hour at the Haleyville Public Library on Thursday, Feb. 27, as they prepared for Dr. Seuss’ birthday this week. Snacks included strawberries and bananas with Yoo-Hoo to drink. The stories “Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You?” and “Fox in Socks” were read by Carla Waldrep, librarian.

"This entire week is “Read Across America,” Waldrep said. “Everything is Dr. Seuss-based. We have all girls this time, but we would love to have anybody ages 2-5 come register and join us.”
Story hour is usually the third Thursday of every month at 10 a.m. For more information, contact the library at 205-486-7450.
