WINSTON COUNTY - The Haleyville Street and Sanitation Department will be closed Monday, July 5, in observance of Independence Day. Therefore, there will be no trash collection on that date.
Monday’s trash route will be collected on Tuesday, July 6, along with the normal Tuesday garbage route.
The Winston County Sanitation Department will also be closed Monday, July 5, in observance of Independence Day. Routes 1 and 5 will be collected on Tuesday, July 6; routes 3 and 4 will be collected on Wednesday, July 7 and route 2 will be collected on Thursday, July 8.
Please remember to have your garbage out by 6 a.m. on your pick-up day. If the garbage is placed out after the trucks have run, it will not be collected until the next week.
The Winston County Sanitation Department is permitted to pick up household-type garbage only. No non-household type garbage will be picked up. Including furniture, construction material, flooring, or yard debris.
