ADDISON - The town of Addison is dealing with multiple resignations from various departments, all within the past week, including the police chief, police officer/school resource officer, a town council member and the water department employee.

Addison business owners angry after sewer project stalls


Johnny and Sherry Porter have held up completing construction of a new business, after having laid the foundation, awaiting on a new sewer line to be installed at a row of businesses off HIghway 278 near the Texaco station in Addison.
ADDISON - A sewer line installation project - already delayed several months - has come to a grinding halt after the Addison Town Council voted at their Monday, Nov. 4, meeting to rescind a resolution for the project and reject all bids.

Addison Town Council seeking attorney general’s opinion

ADDISON - A resolution has been approved by the Addison Town Council to seek an Alabama Attorney General’s opinion on the proper way to proceed with possibly selling the town’s airport.
