Local students make Mississippi State University president’s list

WINSTON COUNTY - The following local students were named to Mississippi State University’s president’s list for the 2025 spring semester:

Lewis Barber and Roby Ellis, both of Haleyville.

To make the president’s list at Mississippi State, students must achieve a 3.80 or better grade-point average, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of coursework with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.
