All six area volleyball teams competing in regional tournaments in Huntsville

WINSTON/MARION - For the first time in recent memory, all six high school volleyball teams in the Northwest Alabamian's coverage area have made it to the North Regional Tournament, and will be competing today through Saturday at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville.

The action will get underway this morning, with the 2A Addison Bulldogs taking on Fyffe at 11:30 a.m.   The 2A Winston County Lady Jackets will play their first match at 12:45 p.m. today against Ider.

The 1A and 4A tournaments will kick off tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 26.  The  4A Haleyville Lady Lions will compete at 9 a.m. against White Plains from Anniston.  The 1A Meek Lady Tigers will start their tournament run at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 26, against Donoho from Anniston.  The Lynn Lady Bears will begin play at 11:30 a.m. against Faith Christian from Anniston, and the Phillips She Bears will also begin play at 11:30 a.m., taking on Mars Hill Bible from Florence.
