Time is running out to be counted in 2020 Census

The State of Alabama is losing--and losing quite badly, as if our state were one of the perennial cupcakes found on the schedule for Southeastern Conference teams in the fall. The deadline to respond to the census is Sept. 30 and a substantial portion of our state has failed to take the five minutes necessary to answer a few basic questions.

Avoid the knock: Complete the census


The above graph shows the census response rate of residents in Winston County’s municipalities as of press time Aug. 2, as well as Bear Creek and Marion County. The state’s response rate is also represented. It should be noted that Natural Bridge’s response rate most likely appears low due to its small population.
WINSTON COUNTY - Time has nearly run out for those who have not responded to the 2020 Census.
