HALEYVILLE - Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4543 and auxiliary will hold their annual Buddy Poppy drive Saturday, May 28, in front of Walmart in Haleyville.
Buddy Poppies are given out in memory of the men and women who were killed in service, veterans who have passed away and other veterans. Red poppies are considered the Memorial Day flower.
Donations will be gladly accepted, and all donations will be used to help the VFW and auxiliary with their many veterans projects.
