Shirley Watwood, 82, of Haleyville, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on October 9, 1942, to Luther and Lucille Whitehead. Shirley enjoyed sewing, quilting and painting. She loved her church congregation and tending to her flowers, but most of all, Shirley loved caring for her family and spending time with them.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Patsy (Steve) Wakefield; sons, Buddy (Melanie) Martin and Darrel Martin; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Odom; parents, Luther and Lucille Whitehead; brothers, Robert Jr. Whitehead and Frankie Whitehead and sister, Carolyn Adams.
