William "Benny" Archer, 74, of Gadsden, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025 surrounded by his family.
Benny was born January 21, 1951 to Jack and Audrey Archer. He was an avid Alabama and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed deer hunting with his son and grandson and made memories doing so. Above all, he loved his grandchildren dearly.
A private service will be held by the family at a later date. Nichols Funeral Home is assisting the family.
William is survived by his daughter, Leah Archer, of Gadsden; son, Lance (Lauren) Archer, of Arley; brother, Jeff (Cindy) Archer, of Gadsden and Randy (Susan) Archer, of Florida; grandchildren, Alden (Mattie) Archer and Avery Archer and nieces and nephews, David (Jennifer) Archer, David Archer, Amy (Shane) McGee, Haley (Patrick) Cooper and Tiffany (Todd) Snead.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Audrey Archer; brothers, Jackie (Cheryl) Archer and Gary Archer and niece, Sarah Lauren Archer.
