Elaine Mauldin, 83, of Carbon Hill, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
Elaine was born November 2, 1941, to Dave and Ethel McGinnis. She was a "doosey" who always spoke her mind. She was a very hard worker and worked at various factories. Elaine enjoyed watching "Westerns" and smoking her cigarettes. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 1-2 p.m. at Nauvoo Church of God, where her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Carbon Hill Memorial Gardens. Joseph Martin will officiate. Nichols Funeral Home will direct.
Elaine is survived by her children, Treasure (Rodney) Pendley, David (Regina) Mauldin and Steve (Connie) Mauldin; grandchildren, Leah (David) Wideman, Jesse Pendley, Rusty Mauldin, Brandon (Laura) Mauldin and Ashley Mauldin; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Lackey, Atalie Lackey, Kyson Lackey, Halie Bishop, Brylee Mauldin, Jaxon Mauldin, Tate Martin and Mylee Martin; sister, Candis (Jimmy) McGee and a host of nieces and nephews. She was an adoptive grandmother to Levi Parkhurst.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Husten Mauldin; parents, Dave and Ethel McGinnis; brothers, Billy McGinnis, Elmer McGinnis, Junior McGinnis, Bobby McGinnis, Lewis McGinnis and John McGinnis; sisters, Ruth Ferguson, Mary Perry and Louise Heatherly and grandson, Christopher Brent Lackey.
