Shirley Rae Williams, 82, of Haleyville, was born June 21, 1943. She passed away Monday, January 26, 2026. She worked as a caregiver and was a member of 7th Day Church of God in Haleyville.
Her visitation will be Friday, January 30, 2026 from 1- 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with James Woodall officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 65 years, James "Harvey" Williams; daughter, Tammy Williams Nix, her husband James; granddaughters, Brandy Trapp Pierce, her husband Josh and Tracy Trapp Garrison; great-grandchildren, Austin Vandiver, Logan Hill (and Alli Temple), Cohen Trapp, Paisley Holaway, Tinsley Pierce, Crimson Garrison and Chase Vandiver; brothers, Carl Southern, his wife Jane, Doug Southern, his wife Catherine and Wayne Southern his wife Susie and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Euel Ray Hutcheson and mother Francis Cooper Southern.
