Cathy Faye Cummings, 63, of Haleyville, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Hendrix Health & Rehabilitation in Double Springs.
Catherine was born January 21, 1963 to Hershel and Faye Bray in Haleyville. She loved to spend her time watching wrestling and drinking her favorite drink, Mt. Dew. She enjoyed driving a big truck and above all she loved her family the most.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 1-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Myers Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Jerry Self will officiate.
Catherine is survived by her husband, Elton Cummings; sons, Joey (Shelia) Cummings and Chris (Brandy) Cummings; daughters, Daphne (Chris) Burnett and Wendy Crowe; grandchildren, Kaytlynn McCarley, Stephanie McCarley, T.J. (Katie) McCarley, Jack Daniel, Dylan Cummings and Caden Cummings; father, Hershel Bray; sister, Sherry (Michael) Campbell and brother, Michael (Sheila) Wright.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Faye Wright Bray; son, Andrew Cummings; brother, Chris Bray and niece, Kristy Garrard.
