Melvin May, 65, of Haleyville, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, at UAB Hospital.
Melvin was born August 3, 1960 to Thomas and Lillian May. He loved to spend his time fishing, hunting and anything to do with the outdoors. He spent the rest of his time working on four-wheeler and motorcycles. Melvin was a lifelong member of South Haleyville Church of God.
Melvin is survived by his wife, Vicky May; sons, Melvin V. May and Keith A. May; stepdaughters, Victoria D. (James) Clark and Tabatha G. (Jonathan) Hickson and grandchildren, Haylie, Gavin, Clayton, Emma, Carson, Bentley, Grayson, Justin, Remington, Patience and Allysa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lillian May and siblings, Tommy, Carol, Peggy and Jim.
