Adra Christine Marbutt, of Oxford, Mich., formerly of Phil Campbell, born July 11, 1930 to John and Lona Howard; passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026 at the age of 95.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Marbutt, her grandson, John K. Marbutt and her parents, John Howard and Lona Hodges.
She was the mother of Reeta Smith, Keith (Uni) Marbutt, Michael Marbutt and Angela (Randy) Harrison. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Scott Smith, Michelle (Dave) Kurtz, Jenny C. Marbutt, Ashlee (Justin) Bean and Aimee (Matt) Kendall; great-grandchildren, Sonnie (Nancy) Allen, Steve Allen , Riley Patton, Lanie Patton, Isabella Bean, Camryn Bean and Ayvah Harrison and one great-great-grandchild, Johnathan Gritzinger.
She was the sister of Ronald (Geraldine) Howard, the late Frances Frederick and the late Richard (Sandra) Howard.
Adra Christine was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Her visitation will be Monday May 4, 2026 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Her funeral will be Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Phil Campbell. (She will lie in-state from 12 – 2 p.m.) with Ronnie Marbutt officiating. Burial to follow in Antioch Cemetery.
