Drusilla Lynn Parris, 67, of Arley, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Drusilla was born on December 16, 1958 in Jasper to Eugene and Mavis Strickland. She enjoyed horseback riding, playing board games, coloring and planting gardens. Drusilla was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 1-2 p.m. in the Nichols Funeral Home chapel in Addison, where her funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will be held at Liberty Cemetery in the Helicon community Brother Mike Tidwell will officiate.
Drusilla is survived by her husband, Timothy Parris; siblings, Pam (Maurice) McCain, Bobby Strickland, Doug Strickland, Eric (Charmaine) Strickland and Erica (Jayme) Sparks; nieces and nephews, Lane Strickland, Jessica Strickland, Levi (Morgin) Strickland, Ethan (Maison) Strickland, Caim Strickland, Yazzie Strickland, Zach Strickland, Dalton (Sarah) Sparks and Garrett (Andrea) Sparks and great-niece and nephew, Hattie Strickland and Colter Strickland.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Strickland; mother, Mavis Strickland and father-in-law, Alvin A. Parris.
