Madison "Maddie" Hope Bishop, 16, of Haleyville, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026. She attended South Haleyville Church of Christ. She was a student at Haleyville High School.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 19, 2026 from 6-8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Her funeral will be Monday, July 20, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Alston Mays and Dennis Bennett speaking. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Cummins, Bailey McDonald, Jessie Salter, Randall Russell, Mark Farris and Kole Farris. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Pebble Fire Department.
Maddie is survived by her parents, John and Helena Bishop; her dogs, beloved Tucker and niece dog, Hazel Mae; sisters, Kaitlin Woods and Hannah (Bailey) McDonald; grandparents, Jimmy and Janis Woods and Regina McKinney and great-grandparents, Mattie Borden and Arlen Frost.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Roger Paul Bishop and Steven John Whitman and great-grandmother, Gwendolyn Frost.
