Remains of Double Springs woman found after fire


This is all that is left of a single wide manufactured home on County Road 3059 near Double Springs that was engulfed by fire Sept. 13. The remains of Kimberly Dotson, 39, of Double Springs, were found within the home.

DOUBLE SPRINGS - The remains of a Double Springs woman were found in the rubble of her single wide manufactured home, after a blaze destroyed the residence Thursday night, Sept. 13.
Kimberly Dotson, 39, of Double Springs, was found in what was left of a single wide manufactured home fire on County Road 3059.  Double Springs firefighters arrived on scene after being alerted at approximately 6:21 p.m.  Upon arrival, they found the structure already collapsing from the fire.
