Haleyville City Schools now has school resource officer

HALEYVILLE - Haleyville City Schools now has a school resource officer.

Billy James was hired by Mayor Ken Sunseri as the Haleyville City Schools SRO Monday at a pay rate of $15 per hour.  Sunseri told council members during their regularly scheduled meeting Monday night that James' salary will be reimbursed to the city by the school system, and his uniforms, supplies, etc., will be paid for by the school system.
