Phillips takes 2 out of 3 in series with Hackleburg

BEAR CREEK  - The Phillips Bears won two out of three game with the Hackleburg Panthers March 11-12.
In game one, Phillips won 9-5 at home. Ken Edwards got the win on the mound. He went three for three, with four stolen bases, as well. Jacob Cagle had two hits, with two RBIs. Wesley Williams had one hit with a RBI. Brady Long got two hits and Logan Cagle had one hit, with Levi Hall one hit and a RBI.
Game two saw the Hackleburg Panthers taking the win 8-4. Edwards went 2-3 at the plate, with four stolen bases. Jacob Cagle was good for two hits; Logan Cagle and Long each had one hit; Levi Hall one hit with a RBI.
Phillips won game three 15-7, at Hackleburg. Edwards had four hits, five stolen bases and two RBIs. Matthew Chambers added two hits and a RBI. Long connected on three hits and one RBI. Hall had a hit and RBI. Williams had one hit, Tanner Markham one hit, two stolen bases, one RBI, with Logan Cagle one hit and two RBIs.
