Lynn Lady Bears defeats Hubbertville in a blow-out win

The Lynn Lady Bears softball team had all cylinders firing on offense on Tuesday, April 16, winning big over Hubbertville 12-1

Lynn  pulled away for good with five runs in the third inning. In the third Isabella Calderon singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run, an error scored one run for Lynn Bears Varsity, a sacrifice bunt by Kendra Hannah scored one run for Lynn Bears Varsity, an error scored one run for Lynn Bears Varsity, and Hannah Alsup drew a walk, scoring one run.

LHS notched five runs in the fourth inning. Lynn put the pressure on, lead by a walk by Ashley Aldridge, an error on a ball put in play by Chloe Gilliland, and a double by Alsup.

Barton earned the win for the Lady Bears. She allowed two hits and one run over five innings, striking out four.

Nichols took the loss for Hubbertville. She went five innings, allowing 12 runs on eight hits and striking out three.

Lynn  totaled eight hits in the game. Sadie Tittle and Barton all had multiple hits. Tittle led with three hits in four at bats. The Lady Bears stole 11 bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Aldridge led the way with five.
