HALEYVILLE - The Haleyville Lady Lions had a five-point lead going in the fourth quarter Thursday, Jan. 30, against Russellville.
The Lady Tigers were able to regain the lead and take a 41-37 win in the final regular season home game for HHS. Senior basketball players and cheerleaders were also recognized that night.
Stats for the Lady Lions included: Reagan Kutis, 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals; Catie Aldridge, 7 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals; Ana Aaron, 7 points, 1 steal; Molly Gilbert, 5 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 5 blocks; Mae Boyles, 3 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists, 1 steal; Madison Caine, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block; Kaytee Beth Boyles, 1 assist; Karlie Carroll, 1 steal; Evelyn Kate Carroll, 2 rebounds, 1 assist.
The Haleyville Lions took home a 77 to 62 victory, leading the entire game.
