HHS boys lose in region semifinals to West Limestone

HANCEVILLE  - The Haleyville Lions just had a five point deficit at halftime at West Limestone in the 4A northwest regional semi-finals Monday, Feb. 17, held at Wallace State Community College. The Wildcats, however, came out on top 54-38 in the end.
Jon Tyler Gilbert had 13 points for HHS, 7 rebounds and 1 assist;
Clay Blanton put in 12 points, with 2 rebounds and 1 steal;
Grayson Long added 5 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 2 steals;
Rome Yarbrough hit for 4 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist;
Grant Dye finished his game stats with 2 points, 1 rebound and 1 block.
The Lions were on the winning side of the season with a 15-13 record.
