Certain roads going to one lane during county maintenance

WINSTON COUNTY - At least two roadways in Winston County will be reduced to one lane in the coming days while county road crews are busy on maintenance projects.

Swayback Bridge, on County Road 77 between Arley and Helicon,  will be reduced to one lane beginning Thursday, March 11,  while maintenance work is being done, noted Winston County Commissioner Bobby Everett.

Also, County Road 60, also known as Cranal Road, which travels through the Sipsey area of the Bankhead National Forest, will be reduced to one lane on Monday, March 16,  due to a road resurfacing project, noted Commissioner David Cummings. 

Motorists are advised to use caution in these areas.
