$200,000 Clean Diesel grant to purchase 10 new buses

DOUBLE SPRINGS - The Winston County Board of Education was notified Feb. 21, they are receiving a $200,000 grant through the National Clean Diesel Rebate Program under the Environmental Protection Agency, that will be used to purchase 10 new school buses for their fleet. The 2019 buses will feature the latest in technology, including a new security Child Check Alarm system.
