Absentee Voting

WINSTON COUNTY - Although the general election is still two months away, the process for applying to vote absentee has already begun, with absentee voters officially starting the process today, Wednesday, Sept. 11.

WINSTON COUNTY - The time is now for voters to update their registration, if they plan to go to the polls for the general election Tuesday, Nov. 8, or vote absentee.

WINSTON COUNTY - For those who need to vote absentee in the Tuesday, June 21, runoff election, there are some key deadlines this week. Thursday, June 16, is the last day absentee ballot applications can be returned in person. The deadline to receive absentee ballot applications by mail has already passed.

Friday, June 17, is the last day to return absentee ballots by hand to the absentee election manager. Absentee ballots returned by mail must be received by the absentee election manager no later than noon on Tuesday, June 21.

DOUBLE SPRINGS - Are you ready for the upcoming general election? It is Tuesday, Nov. 3, and the general public has just over a month before polls open.

MONTGOMERY - Alabama Act 2019-359 became effective September 1, allowing a permanently disabled voter to apply for a disabled voter absentee ballot.

WINSTON COUNTY - Alabama Act 2019-507 became effective August 1, establishing new requirements for voters casting absentee ballots.
