Rebuild Alabama grant will help rebuild two county roads

CRANE HILL - Two of the worst roads in Winston County’s commission district 1 will now receive resurface treatment, with a portion of funding coming through a Rebuild Alabama grant, Governor Kay Ivey has announced.

Crane Hill couple pleads guilty to tax fraud

CRANE HILL - A Crane Hill couple pleaded guilty yesterday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama to failing to pay over employment taxes to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), announced Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Richard E. Zuckerman of the Justice Department’s Tax Division and U.S. Attorney Jay E. Town for the Northern District of Alabama.

Alabama husband and wife business owners indicted for payroll tax fraud

CRANE HILL - A federal grand jury returned an indictment on Thursday charging a Crane Hill, Alabama, husband and wife with five counts of failing to pay over payroll taxes, announced Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Richard E. Zuckerman of the Justice Department’s Tax Division and U.S. Attorney Jay E. Town for the Northern District of Alabama.
