McDonald inducted into Phi Theta Kappa
PHIL CAMPBELL - Ethan Wesley McDonald, of Phil Campbell, has been inducted into the Iota Zeta chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society at Northeast Mississippi Community College. The induction ceremony took place on the Booneville campus of the college on Monday. Oct. 4.
Northwest-Shoals to reinstate athletics in late 2022
PHIL CAMPBELL - Northwest-Shoals Community College Interim President Dr. Chris Cox announced Tuesday, Oct. 26, the reinstatement of athletic programs at the college.
Northwest-Shoals sees increase in enrollment
PHIL CAMPBELL - Northwest-Shoals Community College has enrolled 3,443 credit students for the fall 2021 semester, which is an increase of 82 students, or over two percent, from fall 2020 figures.
According to interim NW-SCC President Dr. Chris Cox, the college looks to build on this momentum and focus on providing the best facilities and atmosphere for its students to be successful.
Smith makes SNHU honors list
PHIL CAMPBELL - Chrishel Smith, of Phil Campbell, as been named to Southern New Hampshire University's summer 2021 president's list.
Eligibility for the president's list requires that a student accumulate an academic grade point average of 3.7-4.0 and earn 12 credits for the term.
