Football players honor senior cheerleaders


The Haleyville High School senior football players honored the only two seniors on the varsity cheerleading squad at the pep rally prior to the Haleyville v. Hamilton football game on Friday, Nov. 1. Cheerleaders from left are: Mallory Rushing and Emma Allen. Football players are: Caleb Williams, Eli Wakefield, Matthew Stephens, Dawson Hyde, Nick Whitman and Eric Hollinghurst, Brantson Lambert, Matt Baugus, Ryan Baccus, Brayden Hutcheson, Josh Weaver, Jackson Kennedy and Ty Black.

HALEYVILLE - Haleyville High School brought cheer and pep to the clients of the ARC center, serving clients with special needs in the Winston and Marion County area, by having the center's first high school pep rally Thursday, Oct. 3, in celebration of the school's homecoming festivities.

HALEYVILLE - A basketball pep rally was held Friday, Feb. 1, at Haleyville High School in honor of the varsity girls and boys traveling to Curry for area play on Tuesday, Feb. 5. Both teams  played Fayette.
Senior athletes were introduced, telling  how many years they had participated in basketball or cheerleading.
The athletes, accompanied by their parents or grandparents, presented a rose to their mothers while being introduced on the court. The athletes received various gifts  from teammates.
