DOUBLE SPRINGS - Chase Cummins decided to be a mascot his senior year to help bring even  more spirit to the activities at Winston County High School.
That decision has landed him a scholarship as a mascot for the University of North Alabama Lions.  He will be one of three who will serve in that capacity. The candidates had to create a 1-2 minute skit and perform to their own music. Candidates were judged on creativity, fan appeal and prop use.
