President approves Alabama's disaster declaration regarding COVID-19

WASHINGTON - President Donald Trump declared Sunday, March 29, that a major disaster exists in the State of Alabama and ordered federal assistance to supplement state, tribal and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic beginning on January 20, 2020, and continuing.

Aderholt introduces bill to raise the age to buy tobacco products

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Robert Aderholt, released the following statement in regard to the introduction of his bill, Stopping Consumption of Tobacco by Teens (SCOTT Act), to raise the minimum age to buy tobacco products to 21 and to also require more age verification for the online sale of vaping products.
