Addison region champs; Meek state bound as third seed; Haleyville eliminated by Jacksonville in 4A action

HUNTSVILLE - The Addison Lady Bulldogs found themselves in a very familiar place Wednesday, Oct. 21. The Lady Dawgs, ranked No. 1, sailed through the 2A North Regionals without losing a set. AHS put down A16 winner Lexington in the first match 25-11, 25-15 and 25-12.

ARLEY - The Meek High School Tigers fell just short of a win Thursday, Dec. 5, against the visiting Berry Wildcats. BHS won by a score of 35-30.
Stats submitted for MHS include: Stuart Waldrep, 14 points; Kaleb Cherry, 2 points; David Tidwell, 7 points; Jarrett Benson, 4 points
The Lady Tigers, however, took down the Lady Wildcats by 20 points, 53-33. No stats were submitted by presstime for the Lady Tigers.
