HALEYVILLE -Here are the Haleyville election results from the municipal election results:
Ray Boshell will be back as mayor after many years, defeating incumbent Ken Sunseri. He received 417 votes. Sunseri received 281 votes and Valeria Taylor received 21 votes.
For Haleyville Council Place 2, Cade Lewis won with 412 votes. His opponent, Samantha Thomas, had 304 votes.
For Haleyville Council Place 3, Colton Corum won with 486 votes. His opponent, Lee Dobbs, had 230 votes.
HALEYVILLE - A familiar face and a newcomer will be joining the Haleyville Board of Education.
Christopher "Boo" Haughton was overwhelmingly elected to Place 2 on the Haleyville School Board, defeating Valeria Taylor. Haughton has served on the school board in the past.
Brian "Thumper" Vickery has defeated incumbent Kris Burleson for Place 4 on the school board.
WINSTON COUNTY - Alabama House Representative for District 14 Tim Wadsworth and Tom Fredricks will face each other in a run-off June 21, after none of the candidates in the race achieved over 50 percent of the vote.
