HALEYVILLE - Law enforcement have once again returned to Haleyville Middle School with strong warnings to students due to continued inappropriate uses of social media.

HALEYVILLE - Haleyville Police are increasing patrols and re-enforcing rules to close off two parking lots where youth are congregating after another major vandalism incident.

HALEYVILLE  -  The death of a five-month-old male infant, who was found on the floor while the father was sleeping in a motel room at Imperial Inn Tuesday, April 2, is under active investigation.

HALEYVILLE - The call of a domestic disturbance at a residence on Macedonia Road Haleyville around 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, led Haleyville Police and the Winston County Sheriff's Office to the scene, where a m an was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant as well as drug related charges.

HALEYVILLE - Haleyville police and fire were both dispatched to an 18-wheeler on fire at the intersection of Highways 195 and 13 near McDonald's. 

For a time, police blocked Hwy. 13 and routed traffic down 20th Street.

WINSTON COUNTY - The pursuit of a suspect driving a vehicle believed to have been stolen out of Jasper, ended early Thursday morning, March 8, when the vehicle left Highway 278 in a curve and crashed, with the subject apprehended after bailing out of the vehicle and fleeing into a wooded area.

HALEYVILLE - Investigation into possible drug activity at a residence on 16th Street led the Winston County Sheriff's Office and Haleyville Police to conduct a search warrant resulting in several drug related finds and an arrest.
