Winston County Sheriff's Office Investigator Caleb Snoddy leads defendant Todd Hood to the patrol car for transport to the Winston County Jail.
HALEYVILLE - The call of a domestic disturbance at a residence on Macedonia Road Haleyville around 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, led Haleyville Police and the Winston County Sheriff's Office to the scene, where a man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant as well as drug related charges.
Police and the sheriff's office responded to 1780 Macedonia Road, where Todd Hood was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant from the sheriff's office on failure to appear, as well as charges filed on the scene of possession of drug paraphernalia, after law enforcement found syringes, pipes and weighing scales, noted Sheriff's Investigator Brad Curtis.
No injuries were reported from the domestic disturbance, and no weapons were confiscated, according to Curtis.
Hood was taken into custody and transported to the Winston County Jail, Double Springs. Officers responding to the scene included Sheriff's Investigators Curtis and Caleb Snoddy, Haleyville Officers Alex Hood and Steve Hicks.
When a defendant is charged with a crime, the charge is merely an accusation until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
