HALEYVILLE - Upgrades and improvements are in the pipeline for the Haleyville Airport, but are all subject to approval from other entities.
Haleyville City Council expresses objection to SB264
HALEYVILLE - A bill working its way through the Alabama Senate is being looked unfavorably upon by the Haleyville City Council, which expresses its dissatisfaction in a formal objection during their May 6, meeting.

HALEYVILLE - The Parks and Recreation Department and the City of Haleyville have entered into a partnership with the Coach Safely Foundation. The resolution was passed at the council meeting on Sept. 4.
Haleyville city employees to receive raise
HALEYVILLE - Haleyville city employees will see an increase on their checks beginning in September.
City to apply for CDBG grant to benefit south Haleyville
HALEYVILLE - The Haleyville City Council approved a measure during their Monday, July 2, meeting to pay a match of nearly $207,000 toward a potential Community Development Block Grant the city is applying for a water and sewer improvement project that will benefit approximately 70 households in a primarily low-income area along Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Streets.
Tax abatement for KITH Kitchens approved
HALEYVILLE - The Haleyville City Council approved a resolution granting a tax abatement to KITH Kitchens, LLC, during their meeting Monday, June 18.

HALEYVILLE - Days before the March 31 deadline of the latest extension to keep Lakeland Community Hospital open, a healthcare Funding Agreement, for the benefit of the Haleyville/Winston County Healtcare Authority, was approved by the Haleyville City Council at their regular meeting Monday, March 26, relating to financing the acqusition of the hospital.
