Bomb threats made in Nauvoo area

NAUVOO - The Walker County Sheriff's Office is confirming through their Facebook page that there have been bomb threats made to several locations in the Nauvoo area Monday, March 11.

"None of these threats have been substantiated and we don't believe anyone is in immediate danger," the Facebook post reads.

The Alabamian is monitoring this story, and will post any further developments.

NAUVOO - The Alabama Sustainable Agriculture Network will have work sessions for statewide farmers at Camp McDowell in Nauvoo on Friday, Dec. 7 and Saturday, Dec. 8. The event is open to the public and geared toward farmers, as well as food supporters and gardeners.

NAUVOO - A two vehicle fiery crash around the Nauvoo area Saturday afternoon left two people dead and two others injured, one of whom being found at the bottom of a steep ravine off the highway, the other walking around on the highway, authorities on the scene said.
