HALEYVILLE - Haleyville Hometown Summer, kicks off this Saturday, June 14, at the Heart of Haleyville Park downtown with a first-ever farmers market for that location. A variety of events will fill the summer calendar at the park, located on Main Street, through August, noted Park Committee Member and Haleyville City Clerk Christy Harbin.

HALEYVILLE - The Haleyville Farmers Market at Rocky Ravine Park has been opening as scheduled, this summer, but shoppers have had to be early risers to arrive before the produce sells out.

WINSTON COUNTY - Seniors ages 60 or older are encouraged to apply for a benefit offered under the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program.

HALEYVILLE - The Haleyville Farmers Market merchants plan to hold a special day for all our customers.

WINSTON COUNTY - The Winston County Extension Office still has access to vouchers for totaling $30 for persons 60 and older to use at farmer’s markets across the state, including the one here in Haleyville. However, they are available on a first come, first served, basis, so interested seniors need to apply now.

HALEYVILLE - Effective July 26, the Thursday hours for the Haleyville Farmers Market, located at Rocky Ravine Park in Haleyville, will return to 6 a.m. until noon. The hours have been from 3-5:30 p.m. on Thursdays only this summer. The farmers market is also open on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 6 a.m. until noon.
