A fire on 11th Avenue in Haleyville early Monday morning has claimed the lives of a woman and two children.
HALEYVILLE - An early morning house fire Monday, Jan. 3, has claimed the lives of a mother and her two children.
Cara Evans, 44, and her children, Annabelle, 8, and Jacob, 4, all died in the fire, which occurred on 11th Avenue in Haleyville. Firefighters were called to the scene around 3:30 a.m. The state fire marshal is investigating the fire.
