DOUBLE SPRINGS - The Free State Theater Troupe's production of "Virgil's Wedding," directed by Beth Wilson Gilbreath, opened last night at Double Springs Middle School. A musical comedy full of surprises, "Virgil's Wedding" features nineteen talented young actors from across Winston County. The cast includes (in order of appearance) Callie Gilliland as Margaret, Hope Jacobs as Bertha Mae, Andrew Estes as Virgil, Hunter Miller as Ellard, Tennyson Gilbreath as Mama Hooper, Tucker Riddle as Papa Hooper, Monica Rice as Ms. Delanie, Peyton Millsap as Barbie, Bonnie Alvis as Mama Sludge, Garrett Crowe as Papa Sludge, John Hunter Tucker as Mr. Wright, Breanna Briscoe as Moe Moe, Beth Wilson Gilbreath as Grandma, Lane Bagby as Mr. Perky, Abi Hulsey as Tiny, Alizabeth Gilbreath as Aunt Polly, Jaden New as Uncle Lester, Katie Barton as Larry Sue and Tanner Garcia as Reverend Davis.
