Addison's Royal Beauty Pageant April 9

ADDISON - The Addison High School Band Boosters will host the annual Royal Beauty Pageant Saturday, April 9, beginning at 10 a.m. in the Addison High School Stephenson Gym, located off of County Road 41 north.  The pageant is open to girls ages birth to 19.  A queen, three princesses, Most Photogenic and People's Choice winners will be awarded in each age group.  Division winners will receive large crowns and banners.  Pageant attire is encouraged.

The pageant entry fee is $50.  A second child in the immediate family will receive a $10 discount off of the entry fee.  There is an additional fee for the Most Photogenic award.  People's Choice is voted on through donations.   A $1 donation equals one vote for the People's Choice award. 

An early bird special is currently being offered, with a $50 fee for all events, including Most Photogenic.  Entries must be postmarked by March 19, in order to qualify for the early bird special.  Those who register late will be subject to a $5 late fee and may not be accepted if there are not enough crowns.

Admission to the pageant will be $5 for adults.  Contestants and one of their guests will receive free admission.

Entry forms are available at both Addison Elementary and Addison High Schools.  Forms and fees need to be mailed to:  Addison High School, P.O. Box 240, Addison, Ala.  35540.
