The annual ceremony will take place on Saturday, July 16, at 5:30 p.m. at the Haleyville Middle School cafeteria.  Tickets are $25 and are available at First National Bank and Listerhill Credit Union locations in Haleyville and Double Springs.  Tickets will also be available at the door the night of the banquet.  Russell’s Rising Smoke Restaurant will cater the meal.
This year’s inductees will be as follows:

Addison High School:  Danny Crider, Heather Denson, Jake Gilliland and Jessica Roberts.

Haleyville High School:  Trey McNutt, John Lyle Mitchell and Judson Sherrill.

Lynn High School:  Matthew Cagle and Maggie Finley Thomas.

Meek High School:  Devin Guthrie, Ashton Harden, Randy Smith (deceased) and Bryan Woods.

Winston County High School:  Matt Carroll, Billy Chambless and Charles Joseph “Jody” Tucker.

Each year, two academic athletes are chosen from a rotating list of high school in Winston County for the WCSHoF’s academic athlete honor.  This year’s honorees are Ashley Aldridge and Cale Tittle, from Lynn High School.

The keynote speaker for the event will be announced soon, and biographies for each inductee will begin running in the Alabamian in June.
