Reno granted parole

WINSTON COUNTY - Rickey Brandon Reno was granted parole by the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles September 29.

Reno was sentenced in 2000 to 17 years in prison for second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument out of Baldwin County.  At that time, he was also given a 17-year concurrent sentence for second degree receiving stolen property, also out of Baldwin County.

In 2018, Reno was given a 13 month concurrent sentence to his initial sentencing for third degree burglary out of Winston County.  In 2019, he was given a 10-year concurrent sentence to his initial sentencing for second degree assault out of Winston County.  In total, Reno has served 14 years, five months and 24 days of his initial sentence. 

Reno is currently housed at Hamilton Work Release.
