HALEYVILLE - The Haleyville City Council approved a grant application to the U.S. Department of Justice for bulletproof vests for the Haleyville Police Department during their meeting Monday, April 16. The grant will be for $9,600, and will require a 50/50 match. The grant would provide 12 vests for the department.
