Teresa Renzee (Terri) Benefield, 61, of Haleyville, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024 at her residence.
She was born October 10, 1962 to Nina Irene Sims. Terri was a loving person. She never had any children of her own, but was a mother to anyone who needed it. Terri was a hard worker and a wonderful wife and friend.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville from 6-9 p.m., where her funeral will be held Friday, May 10, 2024 at 2 p.m. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery.
Terri is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jeff Benefield; brothers, Bruce (Kelly) Bilaskurski and Tom (Vera) Heuring and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nina Irene Sims.
