Carroll Ray “Carl” Parker, 61, of Lynn, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024.
Carl was born on April 10, 1963 in Arkansas to Dewey and Samantha Parker. His family and grandchildren were his pride and joy. Carl cherished spending time at the lake with his friends and family. He loved cheering for the Crimson Tide and being in Bryant Denny. Carl enjoyed being on the farm and taking care of his horses. He always worked hard to provide for his family and was a great friend to many.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 1-2 p.m. at New Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Nauvoo, where his funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will be at the Parker Family Farm (1916 County Road 9, Lynn, AL 35575). Brother Chris Pschirer will officiate. Nichols Funeral Home will direct.
Carl is survived by his wife of 22 years, Pattie Jo Parker; daughters, Keyla (Scott) Piechocki, Payton (Ben) Cagle and Karli (Tanner) Kelly; grandchildren, Samuel Piechocki, Daniel Piechocki, Brooks Cagle, Baylor Cagle, Hadley Kelly, Chandler Kelly and Addi Blaire Kelly; mother, Sammie Parker; brothers, David Parker and Joe Dale Parker; sisters, Nancy Montgomery and Joan Merchant and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dewey Parker; sister, Jane Carroll and brother, Jimmy Parker.
