WINSTON COUNTY - Kids Loving Kids (KLK) is now collecting donations for its Christmas giveaway through its Christmas in July Toy Drive.
KLK is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that annually serves around 3,500 teens and children in need in Winston, Cullman, Walker and Blount counties, providing food boxes, clothing, Christmas gifts and birthday boxes.
To contribute, by July 31, bring any new or slightly used toys to drop-off boxes at Meek Baptist Church of Arley, Listerhill Credit Union in Double Springs, Carl Cannon Chevrolet of Jasper, Bill Penney Toyota of Jasper or Spirit Life Church of Cullman. New hygiene products and blankets are gratefully accepted as well. Teens most often request hygiene products such as deodorant, soap, shampoo, razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste and hairbrushes.
Financial contributions may be made at any Traditions Bank with a deposit into the Kids Loving Kids account or may be mailed to 197 County Road 220, Crane Hill, Ala., 35053.
