Separate sealed bids for Water Distribution System Improvements will be received by the Mayor and Council, Town of Bear Creek, Alabama at the office of the Town Clerk at 340 Main Street, Bear Creek, AL 35543 until 2:00 pm CDST Thursday, October 3, 2024 and then opened and read aloud.
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond, payment Bond, and other documents may be examined at the office of Civil Group, LLC at 919 East Avalon Avenue, Suite B, Muscle Shoals, Alabama 35661.
Digital copies may be obtained from the office of Civil Group, LLC located at 919 East Avalon Avenue – Suite B, Muscle Shoals, Alabama 35661 upon payment of $50.00 for each set.
All bids must be submitted on bid forms provided by the Town of Bear Creek through its Engineer. Bids must be submitted to the Town of Bear Creek in a sealed envelope marked “Bid for Water Distribution System Improvements”. The Bidder’s name and address shall appear on the outside of the sealed bid; and the Bidder’s General Contractor’s License Number and Expiration Date shall be listed on the outside of the sealed bid. The Town of Bear Creek reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any or all bids. Bidders will be responsible for printing their own Bid and Bond Forms from digital copies provided.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Town Hall at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment to be observed, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
