Daniel "Danny" Ray Whitaker, 70, of Phil Campbell, passed away Friday, November 15,2024. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Phil Campbell. His funeral will begin at 1 p.m., with Bro. John Humphres officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. Pinkard Funeral Home will direct.
Mr. Whitaker is survived by his wife, Jerita Whitaker; mother, Nellie Mae Whitaker; children, Chris (Staci) Whitaker, Emily Whitaker (T.J.) Fowler, Patrick (Jessica) Whitehead and Tyler (Tina) Whitehead and grandchildren, Sydney Cox, Caleb Cox, Addison Whitaker, Garrett Whitehead, Regan Whitehead, Reed Fowler, Libbi Fowler and Lizzie Fowler .
He was preceded in death by his father, Amuel Athol Whitaker.
