WINSTON COUNTY - The University of West Alabama has announced more than 400 outstanding undergraduate students named to the president’s list and nearly 600 outstanding undergraduate students named the dean’s list, all for the fall semester.
The president’s list gives recognition to undergraduate students with grade-point averages of 3.80 or higher who completed at least 12 semester credit hours with no grade lower than a C.
The dean’s list gives recognition to undergraduate students with grade-point averages between 3.25 and 3.79 who completed at least 12 semester credit hours with no grade lower than a C.
Local students who made the president’s list are:
Nathaniel Gurley, of Double Springs, special education major;
Samantha Maloney-Crooks, of Houston, interdisciplinary studies major.
Local students who made the dean’s list are:
William Murray, of Lynn, business administration major;
Savannah Darty, of Nauvoo, elementary education major.
